New addition to our field

On Sunday morning, a group of our residents, young and not so young, got together to move a swing (very heavy) from a house in SS20/14 to the central zone field. With a bit of innovation, they managed to do it pretty well.

House Break-in

Four Chinese men in two vehicles, a Proton Perdana and a Honda CRV broke into a house in SS20/14 on Saturday afternoon (28 Nov).
Police were alerted and gave chase but were not successful in catching them.

There were 4 cases of crime for the past week:
1) SS20/10 – snatch theft in front of DSH
2) SS20/10 – attempted house break-in
3) SS20/23 – robbed while getting out from house
4) SS20/1 – snatch theft


And for those of you who may not have noticed yet, there is a pondok polis stationed at the corner of SS20/21 and SS20/10 to show police presence and also to try to better control the crime in our area.

This gathering is to celebrate SS20 being awarded the 2nd placing in the Petaling Jaya Best Neighbourhood 2008/2009 competition organised by MBPJ (see SS20central.blogspot.com). We also congratulate our RT chairperson Puan Eileen Thong for being awarded the Anugerah Penghargaan Pemimpin Masyarakat Berjasa Petaling Jaya.
