Security Update, Thurs, Feb 25, 2010

Looks like the Year of the Tiger is a good beginning for us. We have reason to ROARrr.. because there have not been any reports of crime since CNY.

This is largely due to the efforts of Sgt Hamdan and his men. We not only have 2 policemen who are dedicated to our area but also assisting them is a team of police on 3 motorbikes and a patrol car.

Sgt Hamdan encourages us to contact him if we see any suspicious characters.

Good News

The police has told us that the crime rate in our area has dropped drastically due to increased police presence. :-) We certainly hope this will continue from now onwards.

Sgt Jamil who has been taking care of SS20 has left for a new posting.
He is being replaced by Sgt Hamdan. We thank Sgt Jamil for taking care of us and wish him success in his new assignment.
We welcome Sgt Hamdan and all the new police personnel assigned to our area.

"HAIR TRIM" before Chinese New Year!

SS20 residents give a regular "hair trim" to our trees in the central zone "padang" in preparation for the coming Chinese Year. This is also to ensure that our "padang" is always clean, neat, tidy and mosquito-free to allow all residents to enjoy the facilities available.

Anything higher than this, have to be trimmed by the professionals.
